innanzitutto grazie di aver risposto.
Da Windows l'invio dell'immagine avviene correttamente. Su S.O. Unix Centos restituisce l'errore in oggetto. Qui di seguito, ti invio il trace completo.

L'errore significa che il client twitter sta tentando di scrivere su un socket chiuso dal server.  Prova a postare il traceback completo per vedere dove ha origine il problema.
Quando fai il test su Windows, l'immagine viene inviata correttamente?
