Abstract: Using Logstash to ingest data into Elasticsearch for processing is a very routine situation. But as your pipelines get bigger and more robust any changes to logstash config pipelines can introduce breaking changes. 

Solit is a "Software Optimized Logstash Integration Test" suite, written in Python, designed to test that Logstash is processing and indexing data correctly.
