Abstract: The Django web framework is putting a lot of emphasis on building apps fast. This is great and we should be thankful for such a nice project. On the other hand building apps fast does not always mean building fast apps. In this talk I'll show some performance pitfalls I've encountered while developing Django projects. Some of them may be obvious, some cunning, some embarassing but still worth to share. All of them hopefully fixed.
