Abstract: This introductory talk will revolve around pandas indexes, and in particular ``MultiIndex``es, which allow to index data with an arbitrary number of features while still using comfortable and intuitive 1- or 2-dimensional structures.

We will moreover see that ``MultiIndex`` are helpful not "just" to index, but also to manipulate data in an agile and efficient way.

Finally, other ways to restructure data will be presented, including ``groupby`` and ``window``.
